Please reconsider this decision!

I support the Saskatchewan film industry and the part it plays in Canadian culture.

The film industry is an important part of arts and culture in our society.

I had the pleasure of shooting in Sask last summer - I'm from BC, have always planned on returning to Sask for more. They need to reconsidered for the future.
5614Barry Eisenzimmer
Arts/Culture is what defines a society. The more you have the stronger the society will be. Eliminating the opportunities young and old have to develop and enhance other peoples lives with live and/or animated productions is detrimental to society.

The province should be investing more in culture as it is a growth industry, in every sense of the word. Especially now that revenues are up. And film and TV in Sk is a success story to be celebrated and invested in.
5617Gary Harvey
This is not a hobby. It's an industry.

So typical of the shortsightedness of our government. Again failing to consider the colateral advantages.
5623Kelly Pierson
Culture and employment are an integralto Saskatchewan. Please reconsider and reinstate the Film and TV Tax Credit. Revenue is generated and it truly puts SK. on the same playing field as all of Canada.

In a time when the desire is to keep employment growing and to retain aspects of a higher cultural community in Saskatchewan it is essential to keep this funding in place. Premier Wall we urge you to reconsider the decision for the sake of continued growth
5628Max Daschuk
Arts is a very important part of our society. Plus, keeping the credit makes economic sense.
5629Mark Davie

Sad !
5631Connie Feildel
This puts money into the Sask. economy, This government should be looking deeper into the positive aspect of the film industry in Saskatchewan.
5632Mary McLeod
This credit needs to be re-instated. The government of Saskatchewan needs to ensure these funds are available for the film industry/ arts. It is hard to imagine that a cut is necessary when our province is receiving so much money from all our resources.

Saskatchewan could stay on the cultural map of Canada... or not.
5640Cindy Jenkins
My daughter has appeared in several some productions filmed in Sask. I saw this as a great learning opportunity for her. With eliminating this credit, we are denying the young people in our province to experience this.
5641Samantha Armstrong
The film industry has an economic ripple effect in any community that is hard to measure. The tax credit is worth every penny. Change your decision now and you will reap the benefits for years to come.
5642Gertie Mazil
5643Christopher Turnbull
Saskatchewan needs to stay a viable place for producers to create vibrant media. If Saskatchewan is not competitive then no one will see any reason to go there to create media. I mean lets face it, Saskatchewan isn't Toronto or Vancouver...
5644Leanne Smith
5645Adrian Gorrissen
As stated on the Canadian $20 bill... "Could we ever know each other in the slightest without the arts?" - Gabrielle Roy. Culture is vital to society.
5646Sam Gregory
5647Tammy Frank
Please reinstate the film and tv tax credit. It will create a loss of jobs, culture and income to the province.
5648Risa Erickson
I don't understand why they took away a tax credit that made them so much money. Arts is so important in Saskatchewan, re-instate the credit.
5649Shelby Keet
It would be great to keep this opportunity alive for young saskatchawanians who are in the film industry.
