Last year the NB government axed the New Brunswick Tax credit. Now they've re-instated it because they realized what a stupid move that was.

Weird that the rest of the country didn't learn from this...

It's hard enough for us all to get work in this field as it is and now you're making it so that productions will go elsewhere? Not a good move!

I support the arts and hope my government does as well. KEEP THE SFETC

Show some foresight and keep the SFETC! I support the film industry in every province.

The Tax Credit is what makes it possible to have great movies in this province and more importantly this country. Reinstate the tax credit so that Saskatchewan can flourish with film production

A huge TV success story like CTV's Corner Gas occurred in Saskatchewan specifically because of the tax credits. It creates jobs and promotes investment in the cultural sector, leading to a strengthened economy. We offer all kinds of breaks for potash, so w

Cuts to arts are 2 steps back in cultural industry, employment, and small business. Why shoot yourself in the foot. This is either just a bad move or Wall was told to cut funds to thought and expression.
8019angela cullins
This is ridiculous. NB just axed theirs recently also.

I'm so angry at Wall for this. We worked so hard to bring the tax credit in and it worked.
8021Lesley Biggs
Many industries receive tax credits. Why not the film industry? Moreover, the amount cut ($8 million) dollars is a drop in the provincial budget, yet the tax credit contributes to jobs and to the made-in-Saskatchewan cultural life.

Saskatchewan is more than agriculture & mineral resources. The arts community does bring money & creative people to the Province.

The Saskatchewan Art Community is a part of what makes this province a great place for us to call home. Down with the Wall!

We need to keep this program alive for our students in Saskatchewan, take away some of the welfare programs and use the money on a program like this for one who want to work.

Thousands of hard working tax payers are about to lose their jobs. Even more are about to feel the repercussions of these lost jobs. Soon there will be either a mass exodus or more people will be applying for E.I. and Welfare than ever before. Tragic.

It is backward thinking to make Saskatchewan the only province without the film employment tax credit. There will be a mass exodus. A huge leap backwards!

how are we supposed to keep our best when you do something this stupid... Fix this NOW

I valued the vibrant arts community. Please keep it as alive in Saskatchewan as it is in Alberta!
