Ending the film tax credit is one of the worst decisions I've seen this government make. It will destroy the creative industry of film in Saskatchewan and the lives of those who work within it. Its so clear that in the long run it will be extremely costly

My daughther will leave this province if the film subsidy is scrapped. How is that good for my family or the province?

Please consider raising awareness that tax credits encourage development of a certain industry or behaviour. Like CRA's children's fitness tax credit, parents' money has already been spent on the program and the spinoff from purchasing the program is evident even before the tax credit is issued.

Tax credits encourage more of the same program or behavior and an increase in the amount of the tax credits issued proves the program is working! The govennment should be delighted to see an increase in the amount of tax credits issued from year to year. The growth of the industry or program will be evident in their financial data.

We should promote creativity. Arts are an important part of human development. Removing the tax credit will make all talent move away!

Support the Arts and the vibrant culture of SK-- something that is amply demonstrated by the work of the film industry here.

Hoped to retire here. Now I will be forced to follow the producers that leave if I want to continue working on the world-class documentaries I've been so lucky to be a part of.
