ok. here goes. we sponsor many things in sask. farmers,businesses,STC,and more. I was just kind of wondering why we should keep giving municipal govt.,farmers,sports events,local events money ..why should we give them money? really..kind of like the tax credit that Sask. had..now gone.. yes its bad to help support things that create jobs,etc. and generate jobs..just because everyone else is doing it doesn't mean we should..Just because we are now a "have" prov. encouraging people to come to our prov.,we wouldn't want them to have a job when they get here:)

This cut should be reconsidered. You made a mistake, admit it and make the change.

The Saskatchewan government needs to recognize the unparalleled effect that art has on a province and on a culture. Not only in its clear economic value, but the positive impact of seeing and creating art.

Please consider carefully again, Brad.

Taking away the tax credit is not saving money. It is wasting valuable revenue. Find the person who recommended this and ask for their justification.

Good decision making requires good consultation. That clearly did not occur in this case!

It's not OK to completely ruin an industry; it is a relatively small amount of money which helps to diversify our economy and gives us pride in our culture/province.

Saskatchewan needs all the culture it can get!

I am disgusted at the government's shortsightedness. This has to be reversed. What happened to Saskatchewan being open for business?

The arts community needs to get behind the film industry in Sask. What else will the Sask Goverment try to take away?

Why, oh why do conservative governments go after the arts industry when they need to make political hay? It doesn't require higher math skills to see that the tax credit has created a fiscal windfall for the province. Cutting it is just bad for business. S

This seems to be a hasty and ill-informed decision. The result is the potential collapse of a vibrant and healthy money making industry, and the loss of SK families, jobs, and millions of dollars in future investment in this province.

I urge the GOS to reverse their decision and reinstate the Sask Film Employment tax credit.
