Just look @ NB to see what happens when you lose the TC, not good! The more provinces that do this affects the whole Canadian film industry!

This kills a viable industry and we must restore the tax credit program. The rest of the Canadian provinces have a similar program. If we want Saskatchewan to shine we must compete.

3308Edith Bryden
It is foolish and lots of other things can go before the tax credit for the film industry

My daughter has spent 4 years of her life and 40,000 dollars at university of Regina in the Film Production Program because there was a film business in Sask.

Fund the Arts and Education in Saskatchewan. It's simple.

Come on now,,,! We need to support the arts, not make it more difficult to remain in the business.

I am perplexed by this loss to the film industry. The experts state this tax benefit did exactly as stated. It provided much more revenue that ever given to do work here in Saskatchewan, provided jobs and spin offs that otherwise may go elsewhere.

The tax credit was the reason we shot Little Mosque exteriors in Saskatchewan. I'm pitching my next show, and with the end of the tax credits, I can no longer suggest Saskatchewan as a location.

Arts and culture are vital to a vibrant society. Economically, money must be spent for money to be made.

If the reasoning is about getting rid of "unsustainable" industries that rely on government $, then let's talk about oil & gas and nuclear. Quit lying to people.

The film industry is a valuable asset to Saskatchewan- don't make film and television go elsewhere.

This isn't a subsidy. This is a sound investment in the province. What other investment in the world brings in $6 for every dollar spent?
