1801 | Pat Steel Moyer | My ACTRA membership number is 13. As a single mother, many years of employment in this industry helped feed my three children. What now for future generations? A very bleak future. So sad. |
1802 | Jessica Matsalla | |
1803 | Jon Baxter | Economic spin off of film industry much more than what's spent on tax credit. Do the math Mr.Wall |
1804 | Devon Floyd | |
1805 | Kyla EArle | Economics often overlooks the real value. I ask you Mr. Wall to please understand the real value of supporting the arts. |
1806 | Aubree Erickson | I was looking forward to building and sustaining a career in Saskatchewan and am now sorely disappointed in the cuts the Conservative government is making. Where was our 'culture' minister to stop this shortsighted and crippling cut to our film and television industry? Why was there no discussion? Why can't a 'have' province continue to support profitable industry and more importantly the people of Saskatchewan that work in that industry? Cutting the funding to the film and television industry will impact the jobs of Saskatchewan residents who will leave for other provinces because they have no work. I will leave. The loss of this profitable industry will impact tourism, local businesses and the Saskatchewan economy and most importantly the people of Saskatchewan. |

1811 | shara bakos | |
1812 | James Cooper | The long term effects of cutting the tax credit is insurmountable to the local industry. |
1813 | George Hupka | We are happy to sink or swim on our own talent and abilities. But when we're the only province without a tax credit, it's more like throwing us overboard tied to a concrete weight... |
1814 | John Fraser | |
1815 | Alison DuBois | |
1816 | Jess Paul | |
1817 | Nathan McKinnon | A major part of youth/general population retention anywhere is in fostering work opportunities for creative people. The message sent here is that if you want to work in film, move away. |

1823 | Bob | Conservatives.
Ruined our province once.
Working on round two.
I was trained in government programs to do this as a career.
15 years out the window.
When my family is homeless, we are coming to live with you, Wall.
Make up 3 extra rooms, would ya please. |
1824 | Katie Boulanger | |
1825 | PHYLLIS KOTYK | WITH THE FLICK OF A PEN AND (WITHOUT ANY THOUGHT)THE WHOLE FILM INDUSTRY IN SASK WAS THROWN UNDER THE BUS BUT WAIT ,THE PROVINCIAL GOVT CAN STILL SHOW ITS SUPPORT BY REINSTATING THE SFETC. |
1826 | Dakota Fayant-McLeod | |
1827 | Edith Mead | The film industry not only encourages young families to stay in our province, but also gives small communities a boost when the filming is done in their area, ie: Dundurn, Rouleau |
1828 | Susanne Babcock | |
1829 | Chris Wieme | Making a living as animator in this province was difficult already... this decision will greatly affect the studios in this province. |
1830 | Arloe Scott | 1) Mosaic stadium is being "upgraded" for 14 million including a $6 million loan from the province even though they are still planning to tear it down in 2016. 2) The Sask government axes the Saskatchewan Film Employment Tax Credit to save $8 million, effectively killing the film industry in this province and putting a halt to any jobs and revenue generated by it. I find the use of taxpayers money in this way repugnant. I want a province that is rich in a variety of arts and culture, not just football ridiculata. |
1831 | Teagan kaldor-Mair | i am 11 years old and i might have to move because my parents will lose their jobs. |
1832 | Ian McLaren | SCN in Saskatchewan, which appears to be making a comeback, will certainly find this a major setback to creating locally made programming for their service. Very sad if this goes ahead. |
1833 | Jacquie Hurley | Not only are you cutting jobs in SK by cutting this tax, now you are turning away potential revenue for the hotel, food and entertainment industries here in SK. Yup, lets all vote for the SK Party again in the next election! Cuz they're all about building |
1834 | Doug Zimmerman | |
1835 | Richard Mead | Please reconsider your decision. |
1836 | Debra Bell | Dark times for this province. |
1837 | Lisa Nazarenko | |
1838 | Kieran McArthur | As an aspiring young actor my goals to build a career will be shattered by taking this away. |
1839 | Scott Tunney | |

1843 | Brett Thomas | |
1844 | Gary Rimmer | |
1845 | Petrina McArthur | |
1846 | Chad Kosteroski | |
1847 | Sera-Lys Huck-McArthur | The SK film tax credit is the only reason I and several of my peers who are working professionals in this country even have a career to speak of. What of this next generation? It's heartbreaking. MANY people in my family have been dependent on the SK Film |
1848 | Dale Gagne | It has been proven time and time again that the film industry generates millions of dollars across Canada. Why deter Productions from bringing their projects here! |
1849 | Orion Paradis | As someone who works in the music sector of the Arts in Sask, I am very disappointed in the complete lack of vision from the government with this decision. As it seems to make no sense financially, I can only assume it is playing politics at its worst... |
