Such a waste of talent, energy, enthusiasm and money for our people who work in this industry to be forced to go elsewhere for work!!!!

As someone studying film, research wise regarding the impact on an economy, to not encourage this industry I have to question the current government.

I believe the film industry is important to the Prov of SK!! Your gov't just created the Ministry of Tourism. The Sask film industry was encouraging tourism in Sask!!

I may be moving out but others deserve to be able to work here if they want. Saskatchewan was a nice place to be, actor-wise, and it still should be.

if we want to grow as a province we need to at minimum maintain what we have. Let's hope to grow

In recent years Sk's film industry has become recognized for producing quality and ground-breaking films; creating jobs & bringing money into our province. More importantly, it is growing and training local talent. WRONG TIME TO STOP FUNDING!!!!!

In addition to all the valid viewpoints, I wish to say that our province is seen as a 'happening place' and local scenes are used, creating pride in us all that see our localities... and create economic booms wherever filming is done!!!

Film preservation matters as it is not just preserving film, it's people preservation too; film is artisic expression and should be treated with respect, and films are a window into history.
