This will be a big mistake if done. The industry will die in Sask.
Please reconsider

Your actions of cutting the film tax credit and support to museums implies you and your government does not like our Sask culture and history. Why? Is this not your culture and history too?

I am a singer, song writer and i love acting and performing, my future dreams revolve around the film and music industry and if that is lost then I will have to move to continue my work. How many of your young adults are you willing to lose

Art industry in any prosperous Province is a win win situation.
The conservatives seem to look at the Arts as a drain. !!
5957Anne-Marie LaPointe
This isn't tax saving. Very short-sighted!
5958Trent Schmidt
Short sighted
5959Wesley Hadley
Short sighted policy decision at best.
5960elaine Rutherford
I am shocked to think that the admiration I have for this now "have" Province could be so quickly dispelled. Is being a vital and vibrant place not a good image for the rest of Canada to look up to?

5962Hannah Gregory
I love living in Saskatchewan, but if they are serious about this then I will be moving and making a life in a province where acting can actually get you somewhere.
5963Leslie Charlton
Bad economic move. Bad move for culture in Saskatchewan. Please reverse this decision.

Terrible idea.
5967Sylvia Wuttunee
5968Brayden Klein
Not a smart move. This only provides more reason to leave the province to get a job.
5969Evan Robertson
Poor Decision!
5970Allan Pero
It's such a bore and a shame that purblind ideology is getting in the way of both art and revenue.
5971Mike Hallam
Please reconsider taking away the tax credit.
5972Anil Gorania
What's great about modern Saskatchewan is its cultural diversity. a lot of this is due to the film iindustry and the people it has attracted. Keep Saskatchewan cool. Or else return to conservative blandness.
5973Gaye-Lynn Kern
Please save creative jobs, not kill them.
5974Sherry
Supports the arts. I'm not exactly aprt of the arts directly but I think everyone in sask is apart of it in some way. Whether you are an observer, past time, your career. The arts aspect of sask is one of the first things I noticed when I moved here,!

The SFETC provides a good rate of return. Come on fiscal conservatives, isn't that kinda the bottom line?

I think this is a huge mistake being made by the SK government. Buisnesses are already moving to other provinces and closing their doors here because of this decision. Get you're head back in the game. You're closing the doors in SK by doing this.
5981Peter D. Marshall
Support your artists!
5982marlene chatterson
It is important to support the film industry in this province. I hope the government will reconsider their decision.
5983Dane Kelly
5984John Anderson
This is a bad decision! Please reconsider! Arts and culture contribute so much to our quality of life--and to the potential of our Province.

C'mon Brad. This is a no brainer. You need all facets of business 'and' culture to made a thriving province. This is very regressive.Give it a sober second thought.

Is the government's next move either tearing down the Sound Stage building or converting it to outrageously expensive luxury condos?

5992Cheryl Olberg
Keep the industry going!
5993Dolores Picard
You went to far on this one
5994Albert Couillard
With all the activity of the last few days I am no longer certain if i have already signed this or not - but I will gladly add my voice to those opposed to this bizarre move by the Saskatchewan government.
5995Yvonne Marchand
Stop cutting the budget wear we need it
5996michael james brown
wow i really can't fathom this. What other investments yield a 6 to one return?

Save the Saskatchewan Film Employment Tax Credit

I strongly support the saving of any industry that employs, benefits and grows the sk economy. The elimination of the SFETC is wrong for business and culture. It's not too late to reverse this ill-conceived decision.
