Rethink an error in judgement and keep Saskatchewan competitive with the rest of Canada... just as you do with the subsidies and incentives to other industry investors in our province.

There is so much money brought into the private sector when films and movies happen. If you looked at the money they spent you'd see the stupidity in the idea of not giving a credit to this industry.
5257Robyn Passmore
5258Ward Paterson
We all make mistakes. Please take the time to reconsider your decision. The arts matter.
5259Alan Long
I hope the Government will re-examine their decision and once again support this important inductry!

Reasons why I won't vote conservative in sask, they are way to conservative this will be the first of many things to be cut I'm sure.
5263Terry Webster
We are finally on the map for movie making which brings money to our province, why destroy that??

Don't push young and creative people out of our province.

I hope that this petition will help the government understand the need for support and this valuable investment in Saskatchewan's distinct and growing film industry.
Please restore the tax credit.
5269Diana Redshaw
What are you thinking Brad Wall? The filming industry has drawn big name actors/actress/producers to Saskatchewan!! It has created jobs and the economic spin offs are countless...???? The Sasktachewan Advantage for whom? ...not arts and culture!

The tax credit is an investment which pays back way more than it costs. It makes sounds business sense.

This is a step backward for a province that advertises itself as moving forward.

When money going out is returned 6 fold, I think that is money well spent!
5281Chris Carlier
5282Kathy Mahussier
Such a sad day when the arts are an 'expense' instead of an investment in promoting our beautiful province.
5283Dawna Rose
I am constantly astounded that governments do not get how every tax dollar arts and culture gets goes directly back into the local economy. The tiny amounts we get are paid back many times. Why does BIG OIL never get it's huge subsidy cut .
5284Allison Fairbairn
When you stop funding the arts you lose the intelligent, well-rounded people who help move this province forward. A rethink is in order on this one.
5285Meghan Trenholm
The numbers just don't add up to remove this tax credit.
5286Colette Forbes
I think the tax credit makes good business sense and is important to promote the SK Arts and culture scene allowing local folks opportunities to participate in the industry.

I'm not from Saskatchewan, but we have this same issue here in Buffalo. Why is a 600-800% return on investment viewed as expendable? Is it a requirement for politicians to fail in understanding simple mathematical concepts?
5292Cheryl Moore
Getting rid of this will mean lots of jobs lost in the industry. This province of Saskatchewan is supposed to be prospering and not faltering! I say keep the tax credit.
5293Dave Palibroda
5294jarryth mccracken sagal
so many ppl are going to move away if this goes through

Do the right thing...not the right wing thing!
5296Mike Velonas

Lost jobs are not a good thing!!!
5298Elly Allen
Please don't make me move!
5299Byron Hnatuk
Eliminating this credit will not only hurt the many families that work in the film industry in Saskatchewan, but it will also hurt the Province in that so many families will move away to find work elsewhere!
5300Wanda Kolenick
Please reconsider your decision. We need all of the people of Saskatchewan, not just some. Where would we be without arts and culture? Please support them and be proud of it! It's the right thing to do.
