I've got a few friends working in the entertainment biz and their lives are based in Saskatchewan. If this passes, they most likely will have to move to other provinces.
2903Jeff Nelson
Please reinstate the film labour based tax credit

I support Sask films and the people who create in this amazing artistic medium. Films are supported and encouraged across Canada. Sask Govt should continue their efforts to support and develop films and those who make them!

why the government would even do this is beyond me...there is alot more to loose than gain by this decision.

The film industry not only helps boost the economy of the province, but it support cultural development. This decision looks like the govt. is turning it's back on progress.

Please look at the big picture (pardon the pun). You were elected to be a voice of the people, please listen to what WE want. Don't ship this work to other provinces and countries.
2929Jared Lorenz
This will result in an outflow of intelligent, talented people to BC, Quebec and Ontario. Saskatchewan needs these people!

Why eliminate a tax credit that benefits our community both economically and culturally. Irresponsible and short-sighted government. I am greatly disappointed in the backward direction this government is steering this province.
2938Andrew Wallace
It's a tax credit, not a grant. This industry can and will pack up its trucks and leave. If there is no film industry, there's no tax revenue anyway. This cut will cost money, not save it.
2939Lindsey Doepker
Arts should be a vital part of this province.
2940Brian Heck
I was sad when I read that to save that small amount of money they'd jeopardize our film industry.
2941Kaitii McGill Yates
2942Vicki Cornwell
This move is reminiscent of the 'bad old days' when Saskatchewan was always lagging behind other provinces in supporting and growing its industries. Please let us not go back to being the laughing stock of the country!!
2943Heather Woitas
2944Lance Cornwell
The arts are an important part of our communities. The film industry will be dead and gone in our province. Please listen to the people involved who understand what the implications of removing the tax credit will actually be!!
2945judy friesen
I thought the idea was to keep our young adults in this province? Both of my sons have Film BA's from U of Regina....
2946Sean Grant
This is SUCH a bad move for our growing province. I am shocked by this short-sighted move.
2947Blair Scott
Truly a baffling decision to make this cut.
