Jerry Tipton needs to be unbiased in his reporting even tho he dislikes UK.I don't know why he hates UK and don't care. It should not be allowed in his reporting.The LHL is the Lex. paper and there should be place for an anti UK agenda.

Mr. Tipton is biased in his reporting & needs to move on. It's a shame when you get better UK news at the Louisville Courier Journal than our own "hometown ??" newspaper.

Making the father of a newly committed player uncomfortable, unwelcome and second guess his sons decision to play at UK is wrong! You have embarrassed yourself, Lexington and the state of Kentucky. You need to go!

Other papers are capable of producing fair, balanced, and accurate coverage of Kentucky basketball. Why not the Herald-Leader?

My answer would be to stop buying the LHL and start buying the courier journal. The courier journal is unbiased toward UK and UL.

Tipton does not need to be reporting on UK sports. How a local paper can employ a reporter who damages the reputation of the local university is beyond me.

Journalist, then write the facts. Columnist, then why be anti UK in the middle of UK country. You can ask tough questions, but you have to remember your audience. I am a UK fan, and I want to read good UK stories? How about UK players in Europe?

It's one thing for a sports writer to disagree or even dislike a particular coach. It is something totally different for a writer to let his or her persinel feelings interfere with their supposedly objective reporting. Jerry Tipton is a disgrace

Clearly this man demonstrates not only unprofessionalism in his articles but bias directed at the University of Kentucky. Ethics and impartiality are thrown out the window in his writings.
He is a disgrace to the Herald and should be shown the door.

It is one thing to report the truth, at times it is hurtful and harmful to either an individual or an institution like UK, don?t' like it but true facts are true facts and that can not be changed. When it?s made personal that's a whole other story.

Tipton has been an ass towards UK since day one, he is unprofessional and this should cost him his job at UK home newspaper.

I have read the LHL for 20+ years. he has been anti-UK since he finally learned to type. As soon as my current subscription runs out I will no longer give them my business nor will I support any of those who advertise in their paper.

If your a Kentuckian and subscribing to the LHL drop it immediately. Support the University of Kentucky by doing so.
