| Janet Giesbrecht | |
| Vicky Heshka | Why would the government do this? Do they not realize what a mistake it is? |
| Heather Webb | Why are we shooting ourselves in the foot? This tax credit brings in revenue and creates jobs - two things I thought this province wanted. Reinstate the SFETC!!! |
| Nina McArthur | |
| Shannon Skolney | |
| James Kinistino | |
| Lisa Lanigan | Stop this insane abolishment of the tax credit! |
| Barbara Schepers | Save the film industry in Saskatchewan, and so save the sound stage! |
| Roxanne Angell | I honestly believed the Sask Party was better than this!! Come on Brad and Co. Give your heads a shake. |
| Pearl Yuzicappi | Some of the hardest working people I know, work in film. Let's support them. |
| Peter Gilmer | This would be a costly mistake. |
| Roberta Wallace | |
| Tonia Laird | This cut will force Saskatchewan talent to leave the province. The one and only thing I thought this party had going for it was bringing people into the province. Not forcing them out. |
| Dave Huston | |
| Gregg Schwartz - EDGE AGENCY | We are not asking for handouts, we just want a level playing field across Canada. 30% of our income generated annually comes from the film and television industry. We will not have a film industry here without this tax credit! |
| Theresa Johnson | |
| Peter Ricci | Don't "balance" the budget on the backs of seniors and film artists. Restore the film tax credit and also do not increase the cost of medication for seniors. |
| Drew Reimer | What are you guys doing!? Saskatchewan needs these jobs! |
| Tenille Harris | |
| Shelly ottley | With one of my children entering the film industry it is sad to me that she will be forced to leave the province to pursue her career. I thought we were trying to keep our youth here. |
| Brenda Krasiun | |
| Sheila Hartley | |
| Meghan ottley | |
| Duane Leicht | People will be leaving the province is this isn't changed. |
| Carol Morin | Saskatchewan is booming? For who?
The film industry is a growth industry - short sighted to destroy it like this. |
| Wayne Gemmell | “Honorable”? Premier Wall: If a person wanted to intentionally formulate a plan to cripple or destroy the chances of the international film industry coming to Saskatchewan, what you have done would be the perfect methodology. Based on the heavily funded arts buildings and eastern Canada funding, Ottawa must consider the arts community an important aspect of Canadian culture. You are of the same rehashed party but apparently you don’t share their national commitment. All of the other provinces will benefit from, and be thankful for your Sask Party removing Saskatchewan from potential international film industry venues. If you consider this action to be fiscal responsibility, I expect you will loose a lot of votes as that is the only way we of the arts community can say “THANK YOU”. This is truly a shameful disregard for the young people and businesses that will have to flee this province to find work. Every time your party faithfuls turn on the TV I hope you think about what would be on the screen if all provinces did what you have done. I hope you are happy NOT seeing any Saskatchewan productions on the screen. |
| Lisa Bauche | Keep talent in the province. |
| Dusty Manz | |
| David Keeley | |
| Justin Ludwig | The film tax credit is not a taxpayer handout, it is program that is intrinsic to the mechanics of getting any film or TV show financed, and as such every province in Canada and state in the USA has a similar program.
Once a production is financed, it is like a money bomb of local spending. Every one of these businesses will be hurt by the death of the industry in Saskatchewan: print shops, fabric stores, restaurants, hotels, car rental dealerships, thrift stores, hardware shops, furniture stores, wrecking yards, medical suppliers, caterers, retail clothing stores, antique malls, vehicle detailers, sign makers, bars, graphic designers, art supply stores, tailors, novelty shops, and even the cities of Regina and Saskatoon themselves, who make money off of everything from location fees to parking signs.
One does not need to be an economist to understand the fundamental incompetence behind the decision to cut the tax credit. |
| sean | keep the acting and flim alive in saskatchewan |
| steve ehlert | Just another way the goverment screws the general popp.So wall open your eyes keep jobs in saskatchewan. |
| Pam Farr | |
| Kevin Adams | |
| Carlo Palazzo | |
| thomas hale | What kind of leadership abandons its people? |
| Marc Simard | |
| Roberta Nichol | This cut is a huge mistake, on SO MANY levels.
Shame on you! |
| Elaine Amundson | Bring back the Saskatchewan Film Employment Tax Credit now. |
| Cathy Currey | SK is rich in human as well as natural resources, with $$$$$ spin-offs puting millions into our economy. Don't drive these creative resources & youth out
of the province. SK lIfe is good due to the clutural richness this sector delivers. |
| Jeremy Siebert | |
| Rob King | We built an industry and thereby a community of families and artisans and tax payers. |
| Marlene Schneider | Mistake, mistake, - rather fund non-renewable resource extraction. Cultural spending is what brings the workers to work at the apparent recipient of choice. |
| Kristin Zabos | SK needs to stay competitive, which includes the SFTC. |
| colleena gunnells | no tax credit, no films, simple as that. Save the tax credit. |
| Angela Kemp | |
| Colleen Stuart | Wirh a balances budget it seems like overkill to abandon an industry that helps to provide such a benefit to the province and it's employment as well as support the cultural element. So it IS true that Conservatives do not value culture!!! |

| Brenda Day | My daughter went to VFS & now her schooling means nothing unless she goes away. |
| Chris Bailey | Mr. Premier: I sincerely believed you were better than this, able to rise above petty ideology, a leader strong enough to quell the more radical elements of your caucus. It appears my faith in you may have been misplaced. |
