We\'re a group of ardent supporters of the relationship between the characters Charles Bass & Blair Waldorf on the CW show Gossip Girl. Our main wish is to see a positive change in the writing for Chuck and Blair as a couple.
In season 3 we saw the painful regression of Chuck Bass as an individual and the heart-wrenching destruction of his relationship with Blair. Since then we have been patiently waiting for things to improve, which so far they really haven\'t - neither for Chuck as a character nor when it comes to his relationship with Blair.
We would like Season 5 of Gossip Girl to finally start focusing on the much important growth of Chuck into a mature adult, free of the shackles of his late father\'s undue influence. We would like to see Chuck support and carry Blair as they work through their issues together. We would like to see storylines which focus on repairing the hurt Chuck has caused Blair through the years. We would love to see him finally grow into his true potential as a character: a King of the UES who worships and protects his Queen. :) After Chuck\'s character has finally been allowed to develop we believe that the time has come for Chuck and Blair to be reunited, and for their storyline to begin to focus on them as a strong couple who work together to support each other’s ventures and schemes. We would love to see them finally become the King and Queen of New York.
We also believe all the main character\'s storylines have been too focused on a series of \'revolving door\' relationships lately, not allowing us to become as invested in them or their future as we used to be. We therefore wish for an improvement of the writing of the show in general.
