Good citizens, should be welcomed , not turned away, keep them in Canada.

This is not right!

Canada claims it needs a million new immigrants to stay competitive... Studies in both the United States and Canada have shown that job creation increases and the economy improves as the number of immigrants swells.

A move like this is simply un-Canadian!

When people are making a contibution to the community as this family is, I would hope that we would not only allow them to stay - but encourage them to do so.

Let these people stay, they've already invested in this country!

I don't understand this. Is this family not the type of immigrants that Canada is looking to bring to our Country. Ones that will contribute to our society and are not a drain on our already strapped social programs.

The government should allow them to apply for residence while they are both living, working, studying here--actively contributing to the economy. Their professions are high in demand-- skilled workers.

Give the Cahills resident status.

All I can say is that Dean, Martha and their two lads are exactly the kind of people this country should be welcoming with open arms. Honest, hard working, good people. I pray that this travesty is corrected and they will be permitted to stay.

I'm not related to him directly but I've come to know Dean through his work. It would be a shame for them to be removed from Canada after working hard to get everything right. We need more people like him and Martha!

I know Dean Cahill as an employee and friend. He is an honest , hard working family man and truly an expert in his profession a definite asset. As a Canadian I think it would be an injustice not to allow The Cahills to remain in Canada.
