| 76 | Ryan Sonera | ...and they made a sequel probably fixing all the minor flaws and added online multiplayer. Now i love Uncharted, its my favorite 3rd person shooter but I'd choose HS2 over Uncharted 2 in a heartbeat. I never felt like i was playing a game with HS, it felt more like a interactive movie and thats such a rare quality in games today. Some games come close (resident evil 5, gta 4, even god of war 1 and 2 from PS2) but i still haven't seen or played anything to this day that gave me that exact same feeling. HS lacks online capability, a extra extra hard mode (hell mode is not enough, and how bout some dlc challenge rooms for the 1st one) and thats pretty much it. HS strengths exceed its flaws ten fold including addictive/fun gameplay, incredible graphics and most importantly a awesome story line. Although short its believable and entrancing, making you feel like your watching a oscar winning film or better yet making you feel like your in the film. Bottomline HS deserves a second chance and we deserve a sequel |
| 75 | Ryan Sonera | its unfair to us Heavenly Sword fans not get a sequel. Although the game only sold 139,000 in sept 07 and was outta the top 10 by nov 07 i believe it was sony's fault. Back then PS3 was brand friggin new and it cost 600 bucks (not including tax of course). Plus xbox360 had already been out for a yr so alotta people were intimated buy that price (also games went from costing 40-50 bucks to 60 bucks a pop). Sony was hoping HS would boost its sales but when it didnt they blamed the game and said its not marketable. Well i know alotta people (mostly 360ers) who said the same thing about the PS3 when it 1st came out and 2yrs later almost all of them now have a PS3 and HS was 1 of the few games that made people drool from watching their screens. Yes HS has some flaws (multiplayer online etc) BUT THATS WHY SEQUELS ARE MADE! Its now 2009 and more people are buying PS3s because 1) the 200 price cut and 2) sequels to sony exclusive titles are coming soon. Uncharted was great but needed work |
